In September 2013, the new Sports Premium was introduced to every primary school with the aim of improving the quality of PE and school sport provision.​

Schools must spend the additional funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they will have the freedom to choose how they do this.

The attached report is to let parents and other interested parties know how we have spent the sports premium funding allocated to our school.

Swimming and water safety

2023/24 Year 6 cohort

• swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres: 50 pupils
• use a range of strokes effectively: 39 pupils
• perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations: 40 pupils
