To be able to sequence key events within a story. To tell an adult the key events within a story. To know that when a question starts with who, the answer will be a person/ animal. To know that a question has an answer that we are trying to find out. |
Physical Development |
To be able to hold a cotton bud comfortably and use it with control to place dots on a page. To be able to hold scissors comfortably and use them with control to make cuts in a page. To use two feet when jumping from place to place. |
Knowledge and Understanding of the World |
To know which foods are healthy. To understand that lots of the food that we eat comes from plants. To know what a life cycle is. To know why it is important to care for living things. |
Expressive Arts and Design |
To know what a prop is and to use them within play. To know how to make secondary colours like orange and purple. To know the names of some instruments like a drum, bells, shaker, triangle. |
