To know that they have to brush all of their teeth using toothpaste.

To know what ‘healthy’ means and why it is important to be healthy.

To independently take down their clothes and underpants.

To go to the toilet independently. 

Communication and Language

To be able to sequence key events within a story.

To tell an adult the key events within a story.

To know that when a question starts with who, the answer will be a person/ animal.

To know that a question has an answer that we are trying to find out.

Physical Development

To be able to hold a cotton bud comfortably and use it with control to place dots on a page.

To be able to hold scissors comfortably and use them with control to make cuts in a page.

To use two feet when jumping from place to place.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World

To know which foods are healthy.

To understand that lots of the food that we eat comes from plants.

To know what a life cycle is.

To know why it is important to care for living things.

Expressive Arts and Design

To know what a prop is and to use them within play.

To know how to make secondary colours like orange and purple.

To know the names of some instruments like a drum, bells, shaker, triangle.
